License: Active state or compact license required at the time of submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC required. CPI preferred. Must-Have: Two references from authority figures within the last year are required. Flu vaccine required during flu season with allowable medical or religious exemptions. COVID-19 vaccine required with allowable medical or religious exemptions. Description: This position requires working three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Staff is required to work every other weekend and on major holidays. There is a patient ratio of 1:4. Candidates must float to multiple locations as necessary. All candidates should have experience with various emergency procedures and patient management. Required skills include arterial line management, care of ventilated patients, and IV management. Candidates should also possess knowledge of dysrhythmias and trauma care. Experience in a trauma facility, whether Level I or Level II, is preferred. This unit sees a diverse range of patient ages and diagnoses. Daily census and patient visits can be substantial. Commitment to the team and adaptability is essential for success in this role.
