This facility operates as a designated Level III Trauma Center and a Level II Stroke Center. The Emergency Department treats more than 60,000 patients each year. The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:1 for critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients. An associate degree in nursing is required for this position.
