TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Melbourne, Florida, 32901!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Florida State or compact license required at the time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC required; CPI preferred Must-Have: - 2 references from authority figures dated within the last year - Flu vaccine required during designated season - Required medical or religious exemptions for vaccinations Description: Full-time night shifts of 7 PM to 7 AM, working 3 shifts per week. All nurses work every other weekend and major holidays as per department choice. Patient ratios are 1:4. On-call duties are required as needed. Travel nurses may be required to float to multiple locations. Candidates must have experience with the EPIC documentation system. Medical and religious exemptions are acceptable for vaccinations. The role requires proficiency in various emergency procedures and the management of critical patients. Nurses should be skilled in arterial line management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients. Experience with trauma patients, pediatric emergencies, and interpretation of critical lab results is essential.
