It is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. The ED team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The Emergency Department is a 54-bed state-designated trauma center as well as a stroke center. It treats more than 60,000 patients per year. The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:1 with critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients. Education Required: Associate degree in nursing. Certifications Required: AHA ACLS AHA BLS AHA PALS TNCC Secure on-site.
