Emergency room experience is a must for first-timers. License: Valid multi-state or compact RN license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required. CPI and TNCC preferred. Must-Have: Epic experience required. Description: The position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. You will work three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Patient ratios will be based on acuity. Every other weekend work is required. The role involves floating within the facility to meet departmental needs. A total of 130 visits per day is expected in the Emergency Department. You will care for a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The facility has a daily census that will determine staffing needs. Interdisciplinary support services are available, including physical therapy and pharmacy. All lab requirements must be completed within set timelines before starting. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season from June to November. Please ensure readiness to comply with all necessary requirements prior to the start date.
