Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Perform the Nursing Process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Care is delivered using evidence-based practice and critical thinking while ensuring individualized care and effective partnerships. Provide relationship-based patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics. Partner with patients and significant others, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity. Ensure the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model. Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration by promoting recruitment and retention of all healthcare team members.
