The unit consists of 15 staff members. Staffing includes a Day Shift Charge Nurse, 10 RNs, 2-3 Technicians, and 1 Unit Secretary. During the Night Shift, there is also a Charge Nurse, 10 RNs, 2-3 Technicians, and 1 Unit Secretary. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 4:1. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation, and EKGs. Candidates should be active and personable. Preferred skills include trauma experience. Weekend work requires 4 shifts per month, with no on-call shifts.
