Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Georgia

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 4:1 patient ratios across all shifts; every other weekend required; no call required; float within facility/scope of practice as needed
Highlights:
- Combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department with a daily census of approximately 265 visits and 59 treatment rooms
- Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
- 13-week assignment with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, Rapid Response Teams, Physical Therapy, and Social Services
- Experienced team environment treating all patient populations from infants through geriatrics
- Maximum of 7 days requested time off permitted per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
- Non-billable orientation provided with specialty-specific competency modules
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required at time of application
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience; previous travel experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Proficiency in Epic electronic medical record system required
- Demonstrated competency in arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, ABG interpretation, triage, and care of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction
- Experience in Trauma Level I or II facilities preferred; community hospital experience preferred
- Must complete full compliance requirements within 48 hours of contract signing; all documentation due Tuesday prior to start date
