Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Accurately assess patient acuity and assign appropriate triage level.
- Identify and prioritize patient needs, accomplishing them in an organized, timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians to provide appropriate care plans.
- Exhibit high-level customer service skills, anticipating patient needs.
- Provide for maximum patient safety at all times.
- Maintain flexibility in performing work duties to adapt to changes in patient volume.
- Manage all aspects of patient care and coordinate diagnostic tests and treatments.
- Promote and improve positive professional relationships with other units and departments.
Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- BSN degree
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- PALS, ENPC, TNCC certifications
- 1 year of ER experience preferred
