Experience with STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis is preferred. Description: The emergency department has 39 beds, with a patient ratio of 4:1. Each section has a surge bed assigned. Staff includes free lead, unit clerk, behavioral health sitters, paramedics, EMTs, and LPNs. Equipment includes Rapid Infuser and Glidescope. Documentation system used is Meditech EDM. Scheduling requires working every other weekend. Floating policy is not applicable. Focus on teamwork in patient care and the overall patient experience as a priority. Advanced skills required: Intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting. Candidates should be aware of the unit's commitment to patient-centered care. Charcoal grey scrubs are required attire.
