Description:
This position is for a travel RN in the Emergency Department.
The facility has 27 beds with a total of approximately 60 staff members.
Staffing levels adjust according to patient volume.
Core staffing consists of 4 RNs (or 3 RNs and a medic), 1 EMT, and 1 secretary.
Max staffing can reach up to 7 RNs and 1 medic (or 6 RNs and 2 medics), along with 3 EMTs and 1 secretary.
Patient ratios are maintained at 4:1 with a charge nurse available to assist during critical situations.
The facility is equipped as a Level II trauma center, certified chest pain center, and thrombectomy capable stroke center.
The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.
The ideal candidate should be proactive and engaged in patient care.
Exceptional patient engagement skills are essential for supporting patients and families.
