Description:
The unit has 19 beds and a staffing level of 26 FTEs.
Core needs for staff are 33.
Day Shift includes 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Triage Nurse, 4 Bedside RNs, 1 Health Unit Coordinator, and 1 Tech.
Night Shift includes 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Triage Nurse, 4 Bedside RNs, 1 Health Unit Coordinator, and 1 Tech.
Patient ratios are 4:1 or 5:1.
Equipment used includes Philips monitoring systems.
The EMR system utilized is Meditech.
Typical procedures performed on this unit include tPA, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care.
Ideal candidates will fit well with a positive culture.
Candidates without the required experience will not be considered for the role.
Preferred skills may improve candidate consideration.
Weekend rotations are part of the schedule, but there is no on-call requirement.
