Patient ratios: 4:1. Unit staffing includes day and night shift secretaries and techs scheduled Monday through Friday for both shifts. Type of equipment used includes Hillrom, Stryker, GE, Lifepak defibrillator. Documentation system utilized is Meditech. Floating policy allows for floating to the psych pod or to another emergency department. Experience with telepsych preferred. Team members have a tenure ranging from 5 to over 20 years. Excellent provider and nurse relations foster a supportive work environment. Advanced skills required for procedures performed on the unit. Dress code consists of navy scrubs.
