Advanced skills in handling STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis. Preferred experience with Trauma. Description: This position requires working in a fast-paced emergency department. The unit has 39 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. Staffing includes a free lead, unit clerk, sitters for behavioral health, paramedics, EMTs, and LPNs. Equipment commonly used includes Rapid Infuser and Glidescope. Documentation is managed through the Meditech system. Every other weekend is included in the scheduling requirements. A focus on teamwork and individual patient care is essential. Procedures performed in this unit include intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting. Dress code is charcoal grey scrubs. Unit-specific policies and guidelines will be provided. This unit has received awards and recognition for outstanding patient experience.
