Description:
The Emergency Department features 13 beds and a fast track area with 6 chairs.
The total staff comprises 40 members.
Staffing includes a charge nurse, registered nurses, and patient care technicians on both day and night shifts.
Patient ratios are 1:4, unless assigned to the fast track area, where it may be 1:6.
Equipment used includes vitals machines, a portable EKG machine, a glucometer, transport monitors, and a rapid transfuser.
The electronic medical record system utilized is Meditech.
Common procedures performed include triage, medication administration, and splinting.
Ideal candidates will exhibit a friendly demeanor and a can-do attitude, being team players.
Preferred skills include ultrasound-guided IV knowledge.
No weekend on-call availability is required.
