Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Location: Pasadena, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Rotating shifts available (Day, Mid, Night); flexible weekend rotation options (every other weekend or as needed); no on-call required

Highlights:

• 22-bed Freestanding Emergency Department with manageable 1:4 patient ratios
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting procedures
• Full range of emergency equipment including defibrillators, Hamilton Vents, and bedside cardiac monitoring
• EMR system transitioning from Meditech Magic to Meditech Expanse
• Collaborative team environment with 23 clinical staff members across all shifts
• Floating opportunities to nearby facilities if needed

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required
• ENPC and NRP certifications preferred
• Strong teamwork and patient experience focus
