Job Title: Emergency Department RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 13:00 - 01:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale Must-Have: Basic ER skills including triage, ability to manage behavioral health patients, patient-focused attitude Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The unit has 19 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. Unit staffing includes unit secretaries; however, there are no technicians available per shift. The equipment used includes GE monitors and I-Mobile. Documentation is managed through the Meditech and Tele-Neuro systems. Scheduling requires working three shifts per week, with rotating weekends. There is no floating policy in place for staff members. Expectations include adherence to patient experience protocols such as AIDET and the use of communication boards. Required certifications for this role include a valid nursing license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale. The dress code for this position is navy blue scrubs. Unit guidelines and policies are accessible on the intranet and will be covered during orientation. The unit is recognized for high employee and patient satisfaction scores.
