Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Services.
The role involves working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
The unit has a total of 48 private rooms, with additional areas for fast track and behavioral health.
There are a variety of staffing roles present, including charge nurses and patient care technicians.
Patient ratios are typically 1:4 in the emergency department, with specialized ratios for behavioral health and cardiac/trauma cases.
Familiarity with equipment such as infusion pumps and stretchers is necessary.
Candidates must possess current certifications, including ACLS and BLS.
Experience in trauma care and emergency settings is preferred.
Behavioral health de-escalation skills are also important for this role.
The dress code for nurses is navy blue scrubs.
Teamwork, multitasking, and being a self-starter are essential traits for success in this position.
