Candidates without these certifications will not be considered for the role. Description: This is a contract position for an RN in the Emergency Department. The role requires working 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with rotating nights and weekends. The unit has 32 beds and a staff of 117. Patient ratios are 4:1. Typical staffing includes CNCs, RNs, Medics, and PCTs across different shifts. Procedures performed on this unit include lumbar punctures, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting. Candidates who are great team players and anticipate the needs of patients and the department will be a good fit. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs and a navy blue zip-up sweater; pull-over sweatshirts are not acceptable. Permanent positions may also be available on the unit.
