Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – South Central Texas

Location: Texas Hill Country Region

Schedule: 12.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), rotating weekends, 36 guaranteed hours per week
Highlights:- Freestanding 24/7 emergency center with 15 treatment rooms including trauma/cardiac care, fast-track, and observation units
- Full-service emergency department treating chest pain, stroke, STEMI, trauma, pediatrics, and urgent care cases
- Meditech EMR system with on-site diagnostics including CT, radiology, ultrasound, and telemetry
- 13-week assignment with potential for extension
- Air and ground transport coordination for critical care patients requiring advanced services
- Floating to other units as needed per facility policy
Requirements:- Active, compact Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
- Minimum 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Experience with stroke, STEMI, trauma stabilization, pediatric emergencies, and urgent care preferred
- Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
