Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – South Central TexasStart Date: August 31, 2026
Location: Texas Hill Country Region

Schedule: 12.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), rotating weekends, 36 guaranteed hours per weekHighlights:
  • Freestanding 24/7 emergency center with 15 treatment rooms including trauma/cardiac care, fast-track, and observation units
  • Full-service emergency department treating chest pain, stroke, STEMI, trauma, pediatrics, and urgent care cases
  • Meditech EMR system with on-site diagnostics including CT, radiology, ultrasound, and telemetry
  • 13-week assignment with potential for extension
  • Air and ground transport coordination for critical care patients requiring advanced services
  • Floating to other units as needed per facility policy
Requirements:
  • Active, compact Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
  • Minimum 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience required
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
  • Experience with stroke, STEMI, trauma stabilization, pediatric emergencies, and urgent care preferred
  • Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
