There is no call requirement for this position. Floating within facility/scope of practice may be required as needed. Full compliance is required to start on time; delays may affect the contract. Travelers must work during holidays if they fall within the assignment period. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, travelers are expected to work it. For two major holidays, travelers are expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, travelers are expected to work two of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. All compliance documents are due prior to the start of the assignment. Daily census and number of visits may vary. The unit supports a variety of interdisciplinary services including physical therapy and social services. Patient demographics include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The facility consists of a total of 43 beds. The environment requires management of various emergency conditions and acute psychosis. Travel pairs are not accepted for this position.
