Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Labor & Delivery at an acute care facility in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is critical in providing comprehensive care to expectant mothers and their newborns throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases of childbirth.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will be responsible for monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, assisting with deliveries, and managing various patient conditions, including high-risk pregnancies such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and preterm labor.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers, newborns, and postpartum patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout the labor process, interpreting fetal heart monitoring strips.
- Assist physicians during vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and other obstetric procedures.
- Manage patients with high-risk conditions, including preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and preterm labor.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within a Labor & Delivery specialty.
