**Job Description**
- **Unit Information:**
- Beds: 9
- Staffing: 3 RNs per shift with 1 mid-shift RN/tech
- Shift Types:
- Day Shift: 3 RNs
- Mid Shift: 1 RN/tech
- Night Shift: 3 RNs
- Patient Ratios: 4:1 based on acuity; 1:1 if needed
- **Equipment Used:**
- IV pumps, POC lab machines: Sysmex XP 300, Piccolo, Alere, Clinitek, Sofia, EPOC, Novastat glucometer, MACVU360 EKG machine
- EMR: Meditech Expanse
- **Typical Hiring Profile:**
- **Must-Have Skills:**
- IV skills
- EKG skills
- Triage acuity training
- **Preferred Skills:**
- ENPC
- CPI
- **Procedures Performed:**
- Lab tests on-site for flu, COVID, strep swabs
- IV placement
- Foley catheter placement
- EKGs
- Moderate sedation
