Shifts: ER D/N/W/Holiday rotation - PART TIME (2x12s) + 2 on call shifts in 4 weeks
Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department in Geneva, NY. This is a part-time travel assignment within a dynamic hospital environment. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ED- Emergency Department - Travel- Apply nursing theory, technical skills, and communication in patient care
- Assess patient need and provide direct care
- Utilize invasive and non-invasive procedures for emergency situations
- Conduct both primary and secondary assessments
- Encourage mutual trust and cooperation among team members
- Prepare patients and families for diagnostic procedures and treatments
- Provide patient education and assess learning styles
- Maintain communication and updates throughout the ED stay
Requirements of the RN - ED- Emergency Department - Travel- BLS, ACLS, PALS, Stroke Certification (AHA or RQI only)
- Two years acute hospital experience as a Registered Nurse
- One year ED hospital experience as a Registered Nurse
