Travelers are expected to float as needed; the floating policy will be discussed during the interview. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. Candidates must possess strong teamwork and communication skills. The following procedures are performed in the unit: - Conscious Sedation - Participate in Intubations - Behavioral Health Watch - Sepsis - Stroke (TPA administration) - Chest pain (Heart Alerts) The dress code includes navy scrubs with white, navy, or black undershirts and jackets. Nail policy prohibits acrylic nails and requires clean, non-chipped nail polish. Hair must be off the shoulders and in natural colors. Visible body art should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings, other than ear piercings, are prohibited.
