Description:
Contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department.
The shift will be from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
There is no call requirement for this position.
The Emergency Department has 48 beds available.
Staffing varies based on volume, with mid-shift support provided.
The typical day shift composition includes 1 charge nurse, 3 registered nurses, 2 certified nursing assistants, and 1-3 sitters.
Night shift patient ratios are 4:1.
All types of emergency medical equipment are utilized in the unit.
Candidates must hold a valid RN license.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required for consideration.
Candidates with additional certifications such as TNCC, ALS, ENP, or CEN/PEN will be prioritized.
The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Navy scrubs are the expected dress code.
