Description:
This position is for a registered nurse in the emergency room.
The role involves working 12-hour night shifts.
The unit has 26 beds and a staff of 67.
Typical patient ratios are 4:1.
Equipment used includes vents, EKG, and Teleneuro.
Candidates must be team players and open to learning.
The ideal candidate is energetic and eager to help.
Scrub color required is cobalt/royal blue only.
Typical procedures performed include IV insertion, EKGs, Foley catheter placement, lumbar punctures, central lines, moderate sedation, and cardioversion.
Candidates with the required certifications will be prioritized.
Weekend work is required, with four weekend days expected.
