The unit is staffed by 77 personnel. During day shift, there are various staff allocations including charge nurses, RNs, and paramedics/LVNs. Night shift staffing includes charge nurses and RNs, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:4. Equipment used in the department includes Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont rapid infusers, portable EKG machines, and EMR - Meditech. Typical procedures performed include NIH, IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK, and cardiac monitoring. We are seeking a team player who exemplifies compassion and empathy. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Weekend shifts are required, typically every other weekend.
