**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Room Team - RN - Emergency Room (16 Weeks Holiday Coverage)**
**Job Description:**
- **Location:** Asheville, NC
- **Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- **Duration:** 16 Weeks Holiday Coverage
- **Unit Name:** Emergency Department

**What We’re Looking For:**
- **Experience:**
- 2 years’ nursing experience.
- Minimum 1 year in an Emergency Room setting, preferably in a Level II trauma center or comprehensive stroke center.
- **Skills:**
- Team-oriented mentality and ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback.
- Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department.
- **Certifications Required:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- CPI
- NIHSS
- ENPC
**Unit Specifics:**
- **Patient Ratios:** Typically 4:1; up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds.
- **Staffing Support:** Techs in cardiac monitoring and internal processing, triage, and unit clerks available days and nights.
- **Documentation System:** Cerner
- **Scheduling:** Every other weekend; no block scheduling available as it must meet department needs.
- **Floating Policy:** No floating outside of the ED, but must be prepared to float within all sections of the ED.
- **Patient Experience Standards:** Follow AIDET protocols, respectful behavior, and ensure patients are informed throughout their visits.
