**Exciting Opportunity for ER RN at Wilson Medical Center!**
**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department
- **Shift:** 7A-7P
- **Start Date:** ASAP
- **Location:** Wilson, NC - 45 miles east of Raleigh
- **Facility:** Duke Lifepoint Hospital, 294 beds
- **Accreditation:** Joint Commission Accredited
- **Specialties Offered:** Cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, surgical services, and more!
**Unit Information:**
- **Department:** Emergency Department
- **Trauma Level:** N/A
- **Number of Beds:** 26
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:4-5 (Flexible depending on acuity)
- **EHR System:** Meditech
- **Equipment:** GE Monitors, Standard ED Equipment
**Role Details:**
- **Hours:** 36 guaranteed hours/week
- **Weekend Hours:** Every other weekend
- **Call Requirements:** No
- **Required Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
- **Experience Required:** Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- **Floating Requirements:** Similar assignments only
**Patient Population:**
- Diverse population including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Respiratory Distress, Overdose, CHF, Dialysis, HTN
**Ideal Candidate:**
- **Must-Have Skills/Experience:**
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- **Preferred Skills/Experience:**
- Positive attitude, engaged team player
- **Education Requirement:**
- Associate of Nursing
- **Dress Code:**
