    Job Title: Cardiovascular/Electrophysiology Specialist III Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Electrophysiology Cath Lab Duration: Permanent Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of two years in a Cardiovascular Specialist role preferred License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist/Electrophysiology Specialist training or experience preferred Must-Have: Electrophysiology Specialist Description: The Cardiovascular/Electrophysiology Specialist III provides professional care in invasive cardiac, electrophysiology, and vascular laboratories. This role adheres to hospital policies and procedures. The Specialist delivers professional care in accordance with established standards. Demonstrates evidence-based practice and performs care for the comfort and wellbeing of patients. Performs and/or assists with treatments, therapies, and procedures under the direction of the physician. Administers medication under the direct supervision of the physician as appropriate. Documents a current clinical picture and records designated information in the patient record. Conveys relevant information to physicians and teammates effectively. Calculates, interprets, and analyzes data accurately. Assists in the development of policies, procedures, and standards of care reflective of current practices and literature. Participation in committee and governance activities is highly recommended. Previous procedural experience or electrophysiology experience is strongly preferred. On-the-job training may be necessary and could be demanding.
