Job Summary
Electro Physiology Lab (EP LAB) RN position in the inpatient setting. This role involves supporting interventional cardiology procedures within a Level 1 Trauma Center and academic medical facility, focusing on EP studies, ablation procedures, device management, and left atrial appendage closure devices. The position requires administering moderate sedation, circulating, documenting cases, and running stimulator equipment.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid RN license, ACLS certification, at least 1 year of experience in an electrophysiology laboratory, and the ability to support daytime shifts.
  • Schedule: 4 days per week, 8-hour day shifts, with at least 40 hours minimum per week.
  • Responsibilities include supporting labs with case types such as EP studies, RF/PFA/cryo ablations, device management, lead extraction, and left atrial appendage closures; charting in Epic; and providing patient care during complex procedures.
  • Additional Information: Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, technical environment with responsibilities related to administering sedation, circulating, documenting, and operating specialized equipment.
