Job Opportunity – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026 (ASAP start preferred)

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10 day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Call requirements include one week of weekday call every two months (6:30 PM to 7:00 AM) and one weekend of 24-hour call every two months. Call volume is generally low, with most call-ins for pacemaker cases lasting approximately 2 hours.

  • Perform highly specialized procedures including cardiac ablations, device implantations, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extractions, and Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closures
  • Utilize state-of-the-art mapping systems and Epic charting system
  • Collaborate with world-renowned electrophysiologists in a leading-edge cardiac care environment
  • 6-bed unit with daily census of approximately 22 patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
  • First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing, Biology, or Chemistry from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Epic charting experience and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab experience required
  • Skills required include cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, pacemaker insertion, vascular closure systems, and scrub procedures
  • 2 professional references required, including at least 1 from a manager or director
  • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
