TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified EP Lab RN in York, Pennsylvania, 17403!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Electrophysiology Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Pennsylvania or Compact License required Certifications: ACLS & BLS required Must-Have: EPIC experience required Description: EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies are required for this role. Candidates must be available to work 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM and 7 PM. Candidates must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for. Call may be required. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If the clinical pass is within guidelines, the candidate will be sent to the manager for a final decision. The manager will conduct interviews. Candidates could care for COVID patients. This is a tobacco and fragrance-free facility. Minimum experience required is 2 years. Candidates must possess ACLS and BLS certifications as well as a valid Pennsylvania or Compact License. Additional Info: Experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), and Antiarrhythmics is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience with blood product administration, cardiac ablation, and cardioversion. Candidates should have monitoring procedural sedation experience and be able to obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG. Candidates must be skilled in pre and post-procedure care and procedural sedation administration/monitoring. Experience with radiation and laser safety and sheath removal/monitoring is also valuable. Starting and maintaining IVs, as well as administering thrombolytics and using vascular closure systems, is required. Travelers are expected to complete and pass an EKG exam within 72 hours of signing the travel contract. All modules are billable and generally take 5-6 hours to complete prior to start.
