This travel assignment requires a seasoned professional with expertise in cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiology procedures. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Electrophysiology Lab- Perform scrubs for EP procedures including Ablations, CRM Devices, and LAAO
- Utilize sterile technique and manage EP lab equipment
- Provide documentation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management during nurse-led sedation
- Conduct advanced arrhythmia procedures, interventional cardioversions, and 3D mapping
- Implement radiation safety protocols and manage arterial/venous sheath
- Collaborate with physicians, fellows, and department staff
Requirements of the RN - Electrophysiology Lab- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ARRT-R or equivalent, RCIS required; RCES preferred for Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
- Minimum 2 years of scrub experience with specific EP procedures
- Proficiency with EP Lab technology and documentation systems
