Job Summary
Electro Physiology Lab (EP Lab) Specialist Days The position involves supporting advanced cardiovascular procedures within a dedicated Electrophysiology Lab unit. The role requires clinical expertise in electrophysiology procedures, patient care, and adherence to safety protocols, with opportunities to care for COVID-19 patients in a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM; must be able to stay until the last patient is cared for; call may be required.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS and BLS; PA or Compact license; minimum of 2 years of experience in EP Lab or related field; EPIC electronic health record experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), blood product administration, cardioversion, electrophysiology procedures, procedural sedation, IV infusion pumps, and monitoring.
  • Holidays: The traveler will be expected to work 2 of the 3 upcoming major holidays, with a maximum of 1 holiday off requested.
  • Additional Information: Knowledge of advanced cardiovascular procedures including complex ablations, ventricular assist devices (VAD)/ECMO, TAVR, PFO/ASD closure, pacemaker/ICD implantation, cardioversion, and peripheral interventions is preferred. Must have NBSTSA certification for OR Tech/CST candidates if applicable.
