Description

Job Title: Electrophysiology RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Electrophysiology experience required. Experience with Cardiac Ablations including A-FIB, A-Flutter, SVT, and PFA. Experience with device placement including pacemakers, CRTs, MICRAs, and ILRs. Pre-procedure and post-procedure care experience for admission and recovery. EPIC experience required. Experience with CARTO and Claris systems is preferred. License: Current RN license required. Certifications: ACLS certification required. BLS certification required. Must-Have: Electrophysiology experience is mandatory. Willingness to work in multiple locations as required by the institution. Description: This position involves providing nursing care in the Electrophysiology unit. The schedule consists of 4 ten-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. There is no on-call requirement associated with this position. The role requires expertise in cardiac ablations and device placements. You will be responsible for both pre-procedure and post-procedure care for patients. Collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes is crucial. Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills are important in this role. You will be expected to maintain documentation and report any patient concerns. Teamwork and effective communication skills are essential for success in this position.
