Job Title: RN - EP Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Kansas License Certifications: RT preferred Must-Have: Prior electrophysiology experience (cardiac ablations and implantations) Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Electrophysiology Lab. The shift is from 07:00 to 17:00. The unit has a patient ratio of 1:1. Typical staffing includes 2 RNs and 2 techs during the day shift. The unit utilizes Abbott Ablation and Mapping and Philips Fluoroscopy equipment. The EMR system used is Mac Lab/Meditech. Typical procedures performed include cardiac ablations and pacemaker implantations. Ideal candidates should be hard workers and easy-going. Experience with Abbott Mapping systems is preferred but not required.
