Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Average daily census of 15 cases. Rotating late team assignments each week to support end-of-day case completion and patient transfers.

Highlights:

• Electrophysiology lab specializing in cardiac ablations (VT, PVI, CV, A-Flutter, AV Node), ICD/pacemaker placement and exchanges, laser lead extraction, and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO)
• Advanced equipment including PFA, Cryo, ESI, IVUS, and Cardio Lab systems
• Epic documentation system with CUPID module for cardiac procedures
• Comprehensive 30-hour orientation program with interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a high-acuity procedural environment

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Electrophysiology Lab nursing experience required
• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact State license)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; CCI RCES or CCI RCIS preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be proficient in conscious sedation administration and monitoring during procedures
• Strong skills in arrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac mapping, ablation procedures, pacemaker/AICD insertion and programming
• Experience with both scrub and circulating roles, maintaining sterile technique and sterile field
• Competency in EKG lead placement, IV initiation and maintenance, equipment setup, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Willingness to work storm team/hurricane team assignments and respond during catastrophic events or disasters as required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
