**Exciting Opportunity for RN - Electrophysiology Lab!**
**Job Description:**

- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Assignment Length:** 13 weeks
- **Call Requirements:** None
- **Required Licensure:** Current RN License (eligible for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri)
- **Required Certifications:** BLS from AHA only
- **Preferred Certifications:** ACLS from AHA only
- **Years of Experience:** 1 year
- **Float Requirements:** As required by the facility
**Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 3 EP rooms
- **Equipment:** EP procedure room equipment
- **EMR:** EPIC
**Hiring Profile:**
- **Must Have Skills/Experience:** 1 year of EP lab experience
- **Type of Patients on Unit:** Cardiovascular Patients
- **Personality Fit:** Easy-going and able to work with a fun team
**Dress Code:**
- **Scrub Color:** Provided by facility - will change to surgical scrubs on arrival
- **Unacceptable Attire:** Must wear surgical scrub provided
**Additional Information:**
- Experience scrubbing Electrophysiology cases including devices and ablations
- Capable of manipulating angiography equipment, including mobile and other equipment
- Proficient in selecting and manipulating exposure factors on digital angiographic systems
- Evaluating and processing digital images
- Lifting, moving, and transporting patients; continual standing and walking
- Recognizing emergency situations and adapting to stressful situations
- Communicating effectively

**Responsibilities:**
- Work closely and efficiently with Radiology staff, OR staff, Surgeons, and Interventional Radiologists
- Assist the Surgeon or Radiologist with diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of all necessary equipment and supplies involved in Special Procedures
- Instruct and train students and other technologists in Special Procedures
- Perform routine duties of the department as needed
- Assist with pre and post-procedure patient care if required
