Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Electrophysiology Lab – Portland, OR 97225

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00). No weekends required. No on-call required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

  • Reduced non-billable orientation of only 20 hours versus standard 40 hours
  • Work in a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with state-of-the-art technology
  • 1:1 patient ratios in a 3-room EP Lab with an average daily census of 12 patients
  • Perform cardiac electrophysiology procedures including pacemaker insertions and cardiac ablations
  • Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
  • No parking fees and scrubs provided for procedural areas

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent EP Lab or OR Circulator experience required
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Experience with cardiac ablation, electrophysiology procedures, pacemaker insertion, and special procedures
  • OR or procedural experience to circulate cases; circulator experience strongly preferred
  • Epic charting system experience preferred
  • Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
