Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment at a healthcare facility in Wichita, Kansas. The position involves providing specialized nursing care in the EP Lab, focusing on cardiac ablations and device implantations. The role supports a fast-paced environment requiring clinical expertise in cardiac procedures and patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Kansas nursing license; at least 1 year of current acute care EP RN experience; prior experience with cardiac ablations and implantations; BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Abbott Mapping systems; strong work ethic and easy-going personality preferred.
  • Additional Information: Candidate should be able to work efficiently in a unit with a small team, operating Abbott Ablation and Mapping, and Phillips Fluoroscopy equipment. Typical procedures include cardiac ablations and pacemaker implantations. The unit primarily staff with day shifts, including two technical staff members and two RNs, one of whom may be a traveler.
