We are seeking an experienced Educator Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Juneau, AK. In this role, you will design and deliver evidence-based educational programs that elevate clinical competency and support staff development across the organization. You will serve as a vital resource for onboarding, continuing education, and regulatory compliance training.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing education programs and curricula aligned with current clinical best practices
• Facilitate new employee orientation and unit-based competency validation for nursing and clinical staff
• Conduct skills labs, simulation training, and hands-on clinical instruction for nursing personnel
• Assess learning needs of staff and collaborate with leadership to address identified educational gaps
• Maintain accurate records of staff training, competency completions, and continuing education activities
• Support quality improvement initiatives by providing targeted education in response to performance data
• Mentor and coach clinical staff to promote professional growth and adherence to evidence-based standards
✅ Requirements
• Active AK or Compact RN license
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP certifications
• 5+ years of Educator experience
• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or Nursing Professional Development certification (NPD-BC) preferred
Pay
Salary range: $104,000 to $145,000 per year.
