Job Details

  • Schedule: Dayshift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: CDCES certification (which requires either Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Registered Nurse (RN)), BSN or MS in Nutrition (or equivalent for RN or RD credential), Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP), Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). No minimum years of experience specified.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with insulin and CGM education, counseling, care coordination, pump training, gestational diabetes, pediatric diabetes, ADA-recognized DSMES experience, in outpatient, inpatient, or rural healthcare settings.
  • Populations Served: Adults, geriatrics, pediatrics, including gestational diabetes, Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, and insulin therapy.
  • Additional Information: The candidate must be self-directed, adaptable, organized, collaborative, and patient-centered. The role involves delivering educational interventions, assisting with diabetes supplies, and supporting clinical staff.
