Job Highlights

• Nights | 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation, holidays as needed
• Standard 13-week assignment; up to 26 weeks available
• 19-room Emergency Department
• Average daily census: 70 patients
• Adult and pediatric patient populations
• Level I trauma patients transferred out
• Cerner charting preferred

Requirements

• 2+ years of ED experience within the last 3 years
• Experience with both adult and pediatric patients
• Active Wisconsin or Compact RN license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS required
• NIHSS and TNCC listed as preferred
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Must pass adult and pediatric telemetry exams before starting

Clinical Skills

• Adult and pediatric emergency care
• Triage and 12-lead EKG interpretation
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management
• IV vasopressors and continuous sedation
• Ventilator and BiPAP/CPAP management
• Procedural sedation and monitoring
• Central line management
• Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure care

Floating / Scheduling

• Floating required as needed
• Weekend rotation includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• No local travelers within 50 miles
