Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active CA RN license and recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months.

Details

  • >Located within a hospital's Emergency Department
  • Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Works 36-48 hours per week on a 3x12 schedule
  • Uses the Epic EMR system

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months required
  • Minimum three years of ER specialty experience required
  • Must have worked in the ER specialty within the last three months
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • BSN preferred
  • Acute care facility experience preferred
  • Candidates with a prior adverse action on their license will not be considered

Additional Information

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff across various levels
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, humane, and caring treatment
  • Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
  • Provide health education directly to patients, families, and the treatment team
  • Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
  • Local candidates are accepted with no radius rule, and local rates match travel rates
  • Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
  • All required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
