Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a dynamic, full-spectrum Emergency Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that serves patients of all ages, including a locked behavioral health unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a diverse emergency room setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans for patients presenting in the Emergency Department.
• Handle high-acuity cases and manage emergencies effectively.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts or eligibility for an emergency MA license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse.
• Completion of at least one prior travel assignment or have significant experience in a large Emergency Department.

Unit Details

• Patient Population: All ages (birth through end of life), predominantly adults.
• Includes a locked behavioral health unit with a 12-bed capacity.
• Occasional pediatric cases, with a Level 1 pediatric trauma center nearby.
• Fast-paced, high-acuity work environment.
