Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Los Angeles, California.

Job Description & Requirements

RN ER – Emergency Department

Responsibilities

  • Provide coordinated nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and collect relevant clinical data.
  • Analyze assessment findings and identify patient care needs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare disciplines.
  • Provide direct patient care in a safe, compassionate, and professional environment.
  • Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment, and care plans.
  • Participate in discharge planning and promote continuity of care.
  • Delegate appropriately and coordinate activities of nursing and healthcare team members.
  • Apply critical thinking, independent judgment, and professional nursing standards.
  • Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of practice.
  • BLS/CPR – Required
  • ACLS – Required
  • PALS – Required
  • NIHSS – Required
  • Hospital Fire & Life Safety (HLFS) – Required
  • Epic experience – Required
  • Acute-care facility experience preferred.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Must be available for 36 or 48 hours/week.
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
  • Holiday RTO will not be approved.
  • Auto Offer.
  • 13-week contract.
