Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for a travel assignment on the night shift. Join a dynamic, full-spectrum Emergency Department that serves patients of all ages, including a locked behavioral health unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
  • Assess and monitor patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout their stay.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective patient care.
  • Assist in emergency procedures and manage a diverse patient population.
  • Participate in educational programs and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in Massachusetts or eligibility for an emergency RN license.
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS.
  • A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Previous travel assignment experience is preferred.
  • If this is your first travel assignment, please indicate this status in your application.
  • Training for CPI will be provided on-site.

  • Patient Population: Serving all ages from birth to end of life, with a strong emphasis on adult patients.
  • Occasional pediatric patients; a nearby facility is a Level 1 pediatric trauma center.
  • Includes a locked behavioral health unit with a 12-bed capacity.
