TLC Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Middlebury, Vermont.

UVMHN Porter Medical Center – Vermont

Contract: 16 weeks
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | Days/Nights may vary
Weekend: Minimum every other weekend
Holidays: Must work 2 of 4 major holidays
Facility: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital | Level IV Trauma

Position

  • Float between Emergency Department and Med Surg/Telemetry based on facility needs
  • Must be comfortable taking a full ED assignment and a Med Surg/Tele assignment
  • ED ratio: 1:4
  • Med Surg ratio: 1:5
  • ED serves newborn through geriatric patients
  • 10–14 bed Emergency Department
  • Charge experience highly preferred
  • May assist with ambulance transports to higher levels of care

Requirements

  • 2+ years ED and Med Surg/Tele experience
  • At least 1 completed travel assignment
  • Recent Epic experience within the past 2 years – required
  • AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS
  • ENPC, NRP, NIHSS & TNCC required
  • TNCC or proof of scheduled class must be included at submission
  • NIHSS required before start

ED Experience

  • ESI triage
  • IV insertion and venipuncture
  • Drips and infusions
  • EKGs
  • Procedural sedation
  • Restraint application
  • Emergency/ambulance transports
